Cross J Ranch Activities

· Ranch Tour = $25 per person age 16 and up. We do not recommend this tour for children under age 6. Must provide own carseat for those children who require one. Snack and drink provided.

· Farm Pond Fishing = $15 per day/per person. Excellent bass, blue gill and crappie fishing in three different farm ponds. Early season is preferable (Late April through mid June).

· Trail Ride Your Horse = Guided Rides 2-3 hrs.(call for pricing). Stabling for horse in open corrals - $10/day per horse. Ride meadows, pastures, hills and valleys and enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery in the state. Amble through herds of cattle, traverse creeks and enjoy the wildlife native to the area. (Not available during spring turkey season or fall deer season).

· Elk and Buffalo Tour = Travel to Niobrara for a fun filled afternoon traveling by wagon through the elk and buffalo herds of the Kreycik Ranch. Your informative guide will give a complete rundown of the two species in an amazing close up encounter from your wagon seat.

· Canoe the Niobrara River = Take the scenic drive up Hwy 12 to Valentine and get in your personal canoe for a leisurely float down the beautiful Niobrara River. Then head back to the Cross J for a tasty supper and leisurely evening with friends.

· Star Gazing, Nature Trail Hiking, Birdwatching = FREE with your lodging stay at Cross J Ranch!
